Brian Milliron

Founder and CEO

Brian Milliron has more than 25 years of network security experience. He spent 10 years as a network administrator designing secure systems and responding to threats before switching roles to penetration tester. He founded ECR Security in 2010 and has since spent the next 15 years doing penetration testing both in house for major corporations and as an independent consultant.

He has discovered several previously unknown "Zero day" software vulnerabilities and presented security research for major security conferences including Defcon and B-Sides. His writing has been published by SANS, and he was an early contributor to the PTES penetration testing methodology framework. He has served as a judge for the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Challenge cyberwarfare competition and contributed to CompTIA's Advanced Security Practitioner exam.

He is a member in good standing of ISC2 and holds the following certifications: CISSP , CEH, CNDA, MCSE, MCITP, MCSA, MCP, A+, Net+, Server+, Linux+, Security+, LPIC, CLA, CVE

He has previously done penetration testing for these companies and can provide references on request.
